Buying cheap web hosting for the first time is confusing and exciting.

The bottom line is when you build your first website, you need quality hosting that does not cost a lot of money.
My Recommendation
I recommend that your web hosting provider has the capability to add other domain names if you decide to build more websites in the future.
The most important thing is to make certain your website is “live” so visitors can find and access it.
Hosting companies refer to a live website as “up time” and they usually guarantee 99%+ uptime.
They also offer four main tiers of hosting ranging from shared hosting to Virtual Private Servers.
Shared hosting is all a beginner blogger need.

You have two choices here:

2. Buy the domain from one company and hosting from another.
Does It Make A Difference Who You Buy From
It does not make a difference whether you buy your domain name from GoDaddy, etc. and host your website with another company or vice versa.
If you decide to buy your domain name and hosting from the same company, then when you buy hosting add the domain name to the hosting package and your website is all linked up.
When you buy them from separate companies, you must tell the domain provider to point your domain name to your hosting server.
There is a little more work involved, but it is easy to do.
For example, I am pointing my domain name to my hosting company since my website is on their server.

First, you must create an account with your chosen hosting company.
If you decide to buy your domain name and hosting from the same company, then set up one account.
In order to keep them separate, you must set up an account for your domain name and one for your hosting.
Pick the package that you like the best and sign up.
Remember, if you decide to build more websites, then get a package that allows unlimited domain names.
My Recommendation
Use a shared hosting package when starting out as explained above.
Second, pay for your cheap web hosting package.
You will receive an email from your hosting provider that contains important information.
